Digital Marketing and Communications Intern

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team for 3-6 months. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, self-motivated, and looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and communications within the vibrant context of French culinary tourism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing and communications strategies to promote our tours and experiences.
• Create engaging photo, video, and written content for our website, blog, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) that reflects the ethos of Taste of Toulouse and highlights our local artisans and the richness of Toulouse’s culinary scene.
• Monitor social media and online forums, engaging with our community and responding to inquiries in a manner consistent with our brand voice.
• Analyze digital marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of our campaigns and suggest improvements.
• Perform outreach to local hotels and other organizations in the tourism sector to engage them in efforts to promote Taste of Toulouse’s offerings

Requirements

• M1 or M2 students pursuing degrees in Marketing and Communications or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and metrics (social media, SEO, etc.).
• Creative and innovative thinker with an eye for photography and video use in social media.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Passionate about food, wine, and French culture.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and strive for constant improvement.
